Hour meter?
Does anyone know if the A1 has an hour meter buried in its menu somewhere?

Sadly, no. There's no known way for us to read the number of hours on an XH camcorder. I say "no known way for us" because the factory service technicians can access that information. But we can't.

Chris- would you happen to know if the camera records the "transport use" time or some sort of "on" time?
I know only Canon tech can view this info- but what "time" is recorded? |

I have no idea, Steve. They're probably using a Sony RM-95 to access that info but the exact particulars of what and how are completely unknown to me.
