It was a joke guys. I am a film major at UCSB and I was fed up with all the "avant-garde" films we were watching so I felt like making a mock one myself. Couldn't you detect the sarcasm?

Oh, I don't know... The definition of "opus" is simply "a work" and, although I'm not sure how much actual work Steve put into this, it does qualify. :)

We Californian's do tend to have an off-beat sense of humor sometimes... lol.

As I watched it I did say to myself, "he's kidding, right?!" An now that you have confirmed that, Steve, I can now truly say, I get it. LOL

Canon original cinegamma that gives the most plain output, I do not remember what was the name of it but I grade in post as the last thing before publishing. I usually use Fast Color Correction in Premiere.

Very short clip of stand up paddleboarding as a result of some camera, compression and colour grading testing.

not great video, but look at PFvision go!

Hey Guys,
I'm shooting a series of new concept music video stuff. The idea is to get out in the city or whatever with a songwriter and just let the ideas come. This is one that we sort of discarded because I couldn't get the shoot exactly right. I'm standing in the median of a busy street at 6:00. It is dark except for the streetlights. I am at 1/30 second, 6db and wide open. I was very impressed with how this preset held up. Pretty cool I think... shot with an unmodified PFvision. I got unacceptable stuff from any other preset, check it.

I liked it - it has a good flow to it, and is timed superbly with the music...

Glad to hear results with the preset. Thanks for sharing.

I was shooting preps at the reception hall yesterday and was like "dang...my footage isn't usually this dark". I looked at the preset and sure enough, I was using something else. I turned pfvision on and all the light came back, heh.

Here's a commercial I made for poptent.net's Callaway "Diablo" Commercial Assignment.

Shot on the A1, effects done in After Effects and Motion, edited in FCP and color corrected in Color.

Let me know what you think.

The Wet Method of D-SLR Sensor Cleaning

I have only had my camera for less than 2 months and I'm really green. Besides me being so stiff and ugly, any constructive criticism would be appreciated. This was made in my living room by my wife and myself. I'm using Final Cut Pro as my NLE and just started learning it 4 months ago. I have very many more videos to do on this subject and I know they can only get better.
