Chris's Presets Footage
Ok, these are just some very simple low light tests using ALL the presets Chris posted earlier today. Everything shot with 25F with shutter at 1/50. No CC done. Barre in mind that these are heavily compressed SD DIVX files. The presets are exactly in the order posted by Chris.
This one was done with a small fluorescent light bulb. http://rapidshare.com/files/6359002/...ight.divx.html This one was done with 3 regular 40watt light bulbs. http://rapidshare.com/files/6359436/...ight.divx.html This one was a crazy experiment. I used a 350watt light with a ND filter http://rapidshare.com/files/6359911/...ight.divx.html P.S - Yes, the ugly dude trying to look like a bad ass on the rocking chair IS me. |

Hey thanks for this is puts the presets in a bit better perspective than images provided in the original thread. Since they're small files maybe Chris can find some perminant upload space for them for everyone else.
And nothing in more badass than a rocking chair! |

If today is doesn't rain I'm going to take the camera outside to make similar preset tests. I think that even though these are not professional tests, they can be useful in determining which preset is more suited for different types of lightning situations.

Be sure to read the notes for each preset regarding how they're intended to be optimized... this info is in the Excel spreadsheet that's found in the library sticky thread.
