No worries, Maurice.
It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good, as the saying goes. My XH-A1 is now an ornament, but I've now replaced it with an XH-G1s which better on two counts, and for rather less than the cost XF-300/5 which I was trying to justify (and can't afford). |

What does the XHG1 have that the XHA1 or the XHA1s doesn't have?

The main differences between the A1 and G1 models are:
- HD/SD SDI terminal - Genlock terminal - Time Code In/TimeCode Out terminal and of coruse the list price. The user manual tags the features specific to the XHG1 model. These are important to some users, not so to others. Its a bit like the differences between the current XF300 and XF305. There were other important differences between the 1 and the 1s update model..
