AE Shift adjustment while Recording: XHA1
Does anybody know if there is a way to adjust the AE Shift while recording in Auto mode (not full auto)? Also is there an easy backlit mode that is found on the HV40. Thank you.

Re: AE Shift adjustment while Recording: XHA1
Hi
You can't adjust AE Shift during recording. You have to stop recording, enter the menu and adjust AE Shift. There is a spotlight mode you can use by turning the selector wheel. Don't know if that's the same as back lit mode, I've never used it. Back lit mode for me is just a way to overexpose a light background to get an object in front of the light area to be exposed normally. You can probably achive the same effect in manual mode on the XH-A1 by overexpose the background. Regards, /Bo |

If you hit exposure lock while in Auto mode, you can then adjust the exposure with the iris ring.
