Re: Help me get this LOOK with my A1
Chiming in: I also subscribe to the "shooting as neutral as possible" philosophy. I use the TrueColor preset for all my shoots, more or less confident that I'm getting as much color information as possible during production so that I can push the image however I want in post. After a few years of doing this, I'm still very pleased with the outcome.

Re: Help me get this LOOK with my A1
Thanks Steven...........
Yes TrueColor and color enhancement in post seems to be what most shooters do using the A1. another question: How does one disffuse white and/or blacks without using Magic Looks. Can this be done within Adobe CS5? Jeff |

Re: Help me get this LOOK with my A1
I finally got time to play around with the video.
I have not shot the "break away" clips..so I borrowed some clips for the original video from youtube. I time stretched the breakaways to fit the music...thus the jerky vid. test page I know I could get most of the look, except DOF, with some serious shooting and lighting. Im moving on to a another video of an original song. thanks to all for your suggestions. jeff |

Re: Help me get this LOOK with my A1
Has a pretty good look to it. Watch out on the shots where you are zooming in and out on her though. It looks weird how the background doesnt change at all with your camera movement.

Re: Help me get this LOOK with my A1
Mark...yeah I know.
Those stills were just for test..I didnt take time to "motion" them. I would actually shoot the scene with the artist, and not use any green screen clips. thanks, Jeff |
