Best Preset for outdoor weddings
Hey Guys... I've been using PFVision for my weddings..which seems to be working great except my blacks get a little pixelated. but i was wondering what would be a good preset to use for outdoor, sunny weddings?

Re: Best Preset for outdoor weddings
I have also been experiencing a lot of noise with the color black. I have been doing some experimenting and it seems that the issuie may be using to low of a shutter speed. I was shooting 30f with a shutter speed of 30. I bumped up the shutter to 60 and the problem seems to be gone. I am still experimenting with this to confirm that the shutter speed was in fact the culprit.

Re: Best Preset for outdoor weddings
Hi Mario,
Alot of the answer has to do with how you're planning to handle the footage in post. If you plan to do a lot of work on it - colorization, white balancing, etc. - you'll want to start with a flat preset like TruColor which allows for quite a bit of work back in the studio. If you are planning to pretty much deliver a product mostly straight from the cam there are a couple of nice presets like NoMagenta that give a very pleasing color palette. Off the top of my head, I can't remember what the other flat presets are (I only use a couple so I don't know them all) but maybe someone else will chime in with some ideas.
