New XH-A1s
This is my first post on this forum. I just got a new XH-A1s last week. I am a photographer and have done some video in the past but nothing serious. I have an XL2 and a high-end consumer HD camcorder but wanted something smaller than the XL2 with HD. So far I love the camera (once I figured out I needed to turn off the AGC). I pretty much shoot everything with manual exposure and custom white balance, so I haven't really played with the AV or TV modes yet. But, as I said, I love the quality of this camera.

Steve, how about getting a Datavideo DN-60 recorder and seeing if you love the XH-A1s even more. I'm wanting to see more opinions on the DN-60 (there is a separate forum on Datavideo in another section for your reports. Thanks.

I can see a recorder in my future, but I am going to spend some quality time with the camera first. It would be nice to have a recorder for both the XH-A1s and the XL2.

I'm curious, you mentioned that you are a photographer who has recently updated (me too); what kind of high end prosumer camcorder do you use? Also, what is the DN-60?
