shotgun MIC install , ch1 XLR or Mic in? which
so , i finally got a shotgun mic for my xh-a1. On the shotgun mic end is an xlr , should i connect it to my ch1 xlr or to the mic input on the side of canons(mic) ontop of the camera? would going into the ch1 xlr be a better choice since xlr is grounded. better for less ground noise.
Thanks, Chris |

Use the XLR plug and go through the menu to change the audio input to XLR. If you connect to the "mic in" plug, you need an adapter - an extra connection that may affect the sound quality.
