How do I defeat Auto shut-off/Power down
Gents,
I'm using an A1 with no tape in it. All it's being used for it's image/lens which goes elsewhere.... not even for any audio. Since there is no recording going on with the actual unit itself, it will shut-down after a few minutes which is very annoying as footage/continuity is lost and its has to be reset up & optimized for the environment. Please show me how to bypass & defeat this power saving "feature'! Thanks, Bruce |

Hi Bruce.............
Pages 79 - 85 in the manual, Using the Customised Functions.
Item 16 - Power Save. Set it to 01 (OFF) from the default 00 (ON). Then check page 80 - Activating a Custom Function File All page numbers based on the PAL manual, may be different to the NTSC version. CS Last edited by Chris Soucy; April 22nd, 2010 at 06:26 PM. |
