XHA1 Audio Question
I need to hook up 2 separate mics to my xlr's, one shot gun and one wireless lav. How do I set the setting so that I can monitor each channel separatley in my headphones?

set the switches to ch1 to ch1, ch2 to ch2. They will also come across the left and right channels on your headphones. The audio meter will indicate the signals separately. When you edit, copy the audio channels to the opposite channel so it will be heard on left and right channels. Piece of cake.

Kevin, for the A1, you'd need to have an XLR male plug on your wireless lav to do that. If it hasn't you could use an external mixer that has a minijack and XLR mic inputs.
Cheers.

Kevin,
No, I don't think there is. I would just pull back one side of the head phone if I only wanted to hear one channel. |
