Free XH-A1 bracket change over.
Canon have a free replacement for the XH-A1 suspect hand strap brackets which snap off under duress. Anyone had that done, how long did it take and what's the new strap like?
Cheers.

As far as I know, Cause I have not had it done, just the word of mouth on here. its the same strap, just a new remodeled piece to hook onto.
One person brought it into the store in NJ and it was a three day turnaround... not sure about us people who have to ship it too them. Hope someone else can shed more light on this! |

Thanks; today I got in touch with Canon here, they're on the other side of the city and said they might do it while I wait.
I'm looking at updating the A1 and figure to sell it with the new supports. Cheers.
