Step down from the XL series
Has anyone stepped down from the XLH1a to the XH series ?
Just wondered if there is a big change in the quality between the two camera's I've had a issues in the last while like the weight of the camera and have been pondering this... |

The image is very similar, in fact I don't really see any difference when both are set the same way. The XH-A1 lens goes slightly wider, which might be important for some shots, and of course this means that it doesn't reach as far on the tele side.

Canon (and all the users of both that I know of) claim that there is no diff in image quality between them. The difference will be that the XL series allows you the flexibility of changing lenses.
