Hey guys i'm trying to buy a letus extreme 35mm
i'm using the a1, i know that i need 72mm diameter thread but do i get the 45cm rod support system for the letus..?

If you're asking if you need the rails, the answer is a definite "yes". It should all be available as a kit. Where are you buying from?

Yes. Letus makes cases specifically for their adapters. B&H sells those cases.
I've done a lot of research on the lens adapters, but have not been able to pull the trigger yet. Be sure to post some footage once you start shooting with the Letus.

Personally, I'd go with the 60mm rods, not 45. It depends what you're doing, sizes of lenses etc. But if you want to upgrade later and need more space to load stuff on your rails, you aren't going to have enough room with 45mm.
I'm glad I chose the Proteus Cinevate system with 60mm rods. Chris |
