Video is good, but the guitar drowns out the percussion and vocals.

Thanks a lot for the kind words, Bryan. Yeah, the audio was supposed to be recorded directly into a Pro Tools rig, but somehow it recorded nothing... So... we were left out with the "in camera" stuff. Next time we'll probably bring in our Zoom 4/Zoom 2 units for backup. You can never have enough "audio" tracks!

Merci beaucoup Maurice! No presets were used - just color correction in After Effects :)

Joel Timothy is currently courted by several venues in Europe (France, UK, Germany) for his Euro Tour - so you might be able to see him live! He's absolutely amazing!

Another possible audio back up would be if the mixer going into pro tools has any other monitor outs, feed it into one of the cameras xlr's. Wouldn't be the final mastered pro tools product obviously, but probably better than the a1's mic right?
