Juicedlink CX431 to Canon XH-A1
I'm thinking of purchasing a Juicedlink CX431 http://www.juicedlink.com/index_file...xers_CX431.htm on-camera XLR audio mixer for my Canon XH-A1. Output is via a 3.5mm stereo jack designed to go into the external "Mic In" on the XH-A1.
Question: Is there any reason why with the correct cable (3.5mm stereo plug to XLR plug) the output from the Juicedlink CX431 cannot go into one of the XLR sockets on the XH-A1 ? Paul Last edited by Paul W. Hazeltine; June 4th, 2009 at 01:19 AM. Reason: Broken URL |

Yes there is Paul. The output of the CX431 is stereo via its 3.5mm plug and each A1 XLR mic input is mono.

Additionally, the Juicedlink is designed more to give XLR inputs to consumer cameras - which it does very well, and what you might find more useful is having an actual XLR mixer.
