Probably too late, I just got back from vacation, but you push the button the left side of the camera marked DISP until the display goes away....iirc it affects both your viewfinder and the output as well, don't recall a way to turn off just the output display...hth / Battle Vaughan /miamiherald.com video team

There is a setting hidden in the menu, i believe its called tv or similar.
If you select this the image on your lcd is displayed on the output.( therefore make sure its off) I have just finished recording a stage show where the stage crew asked to run a live feed from one of my cams to large screens either side of the stage and it was fine, even though it was only av not component out. This was also recorded direct to hard drive as one of the performances ran for 85 mins. |
