mushy skin textures

I have been having this problem for a while now. Every now and then my XH A1 will make the skin tones look very mushy and blurred. Even after I critical focus and check it in an external monitor, it looks good but when I play the tape back it makes them look very blurry and out of focus. Sorry I don't have a freeze frame to show you, if I have time I will put one up tomorrow.

The reason it is frustrating me is it is very inconsistent. I can't seem to pin down what causes it.

Thanks for any help.

I have the same problem. I use truly colour preset, it's look fine in the LCD monitor but after I play in the tape is so soft and like a blur but it's okey if I shoot a performance in the stage. I just realize that CP make a soft/blur picture so I'm afraid use the CP again. May be the problem is setting the CP. Now I use the default setting and adjust in the post pro if needed

Do you have the Skin softening feature turned on in the menu?
I sometimes use it at the Low setting to make it look like the talent is wearing make-up. The High setting might cause what you are seeing.

I am sure that I don't have the skin soften feature on. The first time it did this I had it on and that was the first thing that I turned off, after that I thought that the problem was fixed. I guess I will just use the default setting until I figure out what the problem is.
