You could probably order one from Canon Parts. I'd just forget about it. All the 2/3" chip Sony cameras I ever owned had those little rubber or plastic covers fall off after awhile and I never bothered replacing them.

FWIW, I (gently))) removed the one on my XHa1 as it was a PITA. First I cut a hole in it so I didn't have to open it to use phones, then said the heck with it and removed it. Interestingly, when I recently had the camera back to Canon for service, they didn't bother to replace it. May be a commmon "modification"??? /Battle Vaughan /miamiherald.com video team

I've never seen a rental camera either with all the little covers over the BNCs. They are designed to self-destruct.
