Saving edited file using Pinnacle 12

What file format do I save the edited HDV version as, in order to get the best resolution when using my XH-A1 with pinnacle studio 12?

I'm not sure, I understand your question. I know Pinnacle handles HDV in it native form.
HDV is based on MPEG-2 video compression. I alway try to keep everything the same matching frame rate and resolution.
Windows Media file work best. Quicktime files created with Pinnacle are ok and sometime won't play on Mac correctly.
