Xh a1 repair? at DVinfo.net

So in my one moment of miscare for my camera of course with my luck something breaks. I hit the eye piece on the ground and the plastic housing cracked. The video still shows up perfect and everything is fine, i just figure i should really get it fixed asap. I Have the Sagemax NEW warantee package, which says that damage caused by accedental mishandaling resulting in mechanical or electrical failure is covered, however it does not cover damages resulting from abuse and misuse.

I was wondering if any of you have had any dealings with NEW that are along these lines. Will my camera be fixed under the insurance plan, or am I SOL. If i am where do you reccomend to send the camera. I hear horror stories about canons customer service so would i be better off taking it somewhere else? Thanks for the help

Surely that was accidental you would not do it deliberately so it should be covered by insurance.
