Canon XH A1 no longer in stock?
So strange - was getting ready to finally purchase the Canon XH A1 when I notice in the past week many retailers have stopped carrying it (such as Amazon, BuyDig, Adorama, J&R (out of stock) - although B&H still have it for $2999) or have seriously ramped up the prices to nearly that of the newer XH A1s
Is Canon stopping production of the XH A1? |

XH-A1s is the new improved model, why would they continue making XH-A1?

I agree, but there is a $500-600 price difference... just wondering if it was official they had stopped producing the XH A1 now....

Prices on the new models are the *same* as the older ones when they were *first introduced.* Hope this helps, |

Buying the updated "s" version also should provide an additional ~3 years of factory parts support, if that is important. The lower price is likely clearing out stock.
