Manual audio while in auto mode?

Is it possible to control the audio manually if I am shooting in auto / easy mode. I've tried to do this but it seems like the camera wont allow it. Any thoughts?

My, you have been a busy little Beaver...........

Posts everywhere.

Can't recommend Auto/ Easy mode as a shooting strategy, but that's another matter.

Switch the A/M switch located under the "Audio Level" sign on the rear, LHS of the camera to "M".

You are now in manual audio.

Yup...I have been making full use of this site. Its awsome. But like I said before it keeps me up late at nihgt. The other night I only got 4 hors sllep beause I was reading all the old posts. I tried using the switch but if I'm in easy mode, the camera seems to void out the option like it does with the other stuff.

Correct...........

Another very good reason not to use Easy mode.

It removes practically all manual functions, hence to be avoided at all costs if possible.

If nothing else I'm getting a guided tour of all those bits of the A1 I've never had a reason to look at, like Easy mode.

At this rate I'll know the camera as well as you do!

It's deja vu all over again.
In fairness, I knew the above thread was in here somewhere, but it still took me a while to find it with the search tools.
