xh-a1 and hv30

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if it makes sense to pick up a hv30 to go along with my A1.I just got the 5d markII (which is awesome by the way) for a second cam but I'm not real confident that it will be easily operated by my not so swift assistant. The manual focus is what is scaring me to be honest.I'd really like to use the 5d for mostly detail shots and for some of the formal pics after. That was mostly intended as a still camera for the photography end of the biz.I'll be juggling the steadicam with the A1,photography for the day(my second shooter and his assistant will mostly be covering the ceremony and reception with me running things for the formals) and I wanted to set u one of my assistants with another video camera.I'm not sure if the cameras will mesh well in post.Does anyone have any experience with the two.Any help would be great.

thanks!
Ryan
