hand held band attached to the cam chassis broke !!!!

Crazy experience

The band, whichs enables to hold the Canon XH-A1 in the right hand broke loose.
The very attachment on the cassis,- this tiny plastic bow snapped -,
and it was just pure luck, that I could prevent the cam from crashing on the floor.

Anyone of you experienced the same fate?

Does anyone has an idea how to repair or aks for a special warranty sheme?

I bought the cam new in Germany, 1,5 y ago, but I am living in Cambodia.
The 1 year warranty is already expired, but I rarely used the cam: max
15h on the heads.

Any comments are appreciated.

Regards Reinhold
