25f in Premiere (CS4) 1080i or 1080p project?
Hi,
this is somehow a beginner question... When I start a project in Premiere CS4 with videos shot with my Canon XH A1 in 25f, what is the right project settings? HDV 1080i 50 or HDV 1080 25p? I think it's the 1080i one because 25f is just an "efect" and not a true progressive... Am I right? Thanks in advance! |

You are incorrect.
25f is the same thing as 25p true progressive. |

We're are about to start the postproduction of a shortfilm wich cost us a lot of effort...
So... We should select 1080 25p in Premiere. Is this right then? (to be completly sure) Thanks! |

I would base my edit on the predetermined delivery format.
Since this short film cost you a lot of effort, you did do some planning did you not? |

The delivery is DVD and Blu-ray disc. With this in mind what project settings would you choose? Thanks! |
