ZR-2000 Confirmed Focus Test
I conducted the test requested in this thread:
Results of the ZR-2000: Mico Fine adjustments are obtainable with precision. @ 20x zoom, Manual Focus, Zoomed in on the 8" X 11 1/2 Focus Chart to fill screen. From out of focus, into sharp focus using the focus wheel. I used the "magnify" button to confirm sharp focus. Curt Fargo is right, Its awesome! The Canon ZR-2000 zoom controller is a must have for your pro bag.

Curt, Rob...............
Thanks heaps guys, that's the best news I've heard all month, heck, all year!
(Curt, I did catch you're previous positive post earlier but thought I'd wait till Rob gave the clincher [or not] to really believe it). I'll just have to find a way to sideline some cash from it's current rapid dissapearance into this money pit of a house we're working on, to go for the 2000. [My video budget is currently spent up to about 2013! Bugger]. Thanks again. Happy shooting. CS |

Maybe try two cameras of the same brand. Have you tried the "other" forum; as it may be a fault of how that particular (rather than the A1) brand focus's.
