The repair estimate was $283.00. They won't let me know the issue untill they perform the repair. |

Kind off, first they sent you and E-mail letting you know the repair estimate and then if you agree with the cost you have to approve the estimate by phone or online. I called to approve the estimate and when I asked what was the issue the customer service representative told me that the repair people don't write in the system the issue until the camera is fixed and told me they will send and explanation of what they did along with the camera when they are done.

Don't know if the A1 service procedure is different but when I got my HV10 back from servicing there was no explanation. Since the problem with it was it wouldn't power up and they replaced a PCB I deduced that it was the power supply PCB, so I got all the explanation I needed.
