Noise from new camera?
I have a new xha1 and I notice that simple handling of it with slight tipping left or right some times I can hear something inside. The sound is very faint, if it was a slightly noisy enviroment you wouldnt hear it. I assume it is the gyro's or something like that for stabilization. All functions work fine and it produces great shots. Is this normal? Does anyone else hear it or is something loose?

Does the sound happen when the camera is turned on? If not, that is the image stabilizer. Optical image stabilization actually physically moves a lens. When it is powered off, this element is free to move around. My DVC30 makes this noise too, don't worry.

Just to confirm, it's the OIS. I don't know if there's any A1 owner who hasn't wondered about this. It's completely normal.

That's what I thought, but thanks for relieving my concerns.
