Shotgun Mic Holder Screw
Hi All
I need some help with the actual screw that closes the shotgun mic arm. I did a expo shoot and someone in the crown knocked into the camera when the screw was half done up. It made the screw slip a thread and i only found out when i got some. I tried to use some pliers to remove it, as it was stuck like concrete in the arm. The screw then broke in 2! I'm a mechanical engineer by profession, and this thing broke easy! So i now have to drill out the old screw half for a new one. Anyone know where i can get one of these screws? Thanks |

I had a similair problem with the screw. It messed up the thread a little, so i decided to buy a new mic holder, wich includes the thumbscrew.
As you said, it's not the strongest part of the XH... |

I'm from the Netherlands ;) You don't want to pay the shipping costs to your side of the water.
You better contact your local Canon department. |
