Vegas users unite! 24f works in 8.0c
As a hold out for a good workflow solution for Canon 24f, the new version 8.0c has import and edit licked for Canon's 24f. It is a beautiful thing! oh yeah.

That leaves Avid as the only major player that can't do 24F. Which is the No. 1 reason I bought a new FCP system this past Feb. instead of going back to Avid's Media Composer which I find easier and faster to use.

Oh, sweet! I hadn't thought to try, as I've been using my FireStore for so long now. (8's problem with capturing 24f from tape is what drove me over the edge to buy one, if I recall.) Tape is a thing of the past for me, generally. But this is great news.

I assume this is the 24f from Canon A1, and Vegas still won't pull down HV20's 24 fps ???

Oh, I haven't tried 24 on the HV20. If I start to shoot 24f for weddings I'll need 24p for the HV20. I'll check into that.
