XH-A1 and Edirol F-1

Anyone know if the new Roland Edirol F-1 is an option for tapeless recording with A-1?

Tx

Don't see why not. It looks like a very cleverly thought out recorder.
But you might want to find out if it'll capture Canon's 24F and 30F modes before buying it.

Thx for asking :) I didn't even know about the existence of this device, it is quite bulky but it certainly looks like a very professional capturing device, also it has 2 extra xlr ports to capture audio separately from other audio units. i wonder if you could attach a wireless mic and the shotgun mic from your camera to it so you could also use the onboard mic of your camera as well as audio back up? Meaning that you could feed 3 audio sources to it?
I"m just curious about the price, have been able to find one Belgian reseller but they were not displaying a price which I just asked by mail. I"m afraid it might be a bit outside my budget by the looks of it.

Just got the reseller on the phone, in Belgium it was 2400 euro or almost 3500 dollar which is too expensive for me. Too bad because it looks like a really solid device.
