HDV Question
I went out and shot some sunset footage on my xh-a1. I shot in 30f. I put the footage into FCP 6.0 no problems. I exported the clips from the timeline as quick times and they worked fine on my machine. We just got new HD monitors at work so I wanted to bring the footage into work on DVD as data and view. I ran into a codec issue on the PC's we work on. The files won't play. I don't have the source files or camera with me so I wanted to know if there is any way to get a codec to make the files i have play in Quicktime or Premiere pro or after effects 7.0?

You probably ended up with a FCP Quicktime that won't play on a system with no FCP. Maybe go into QT Conversion and export it as an H.264 QT.

Thanks I'll try it. I assume you mean out of FCP? I will try that when I get home tonight? I was hoping to find a way if possible to do that while I was at work.
