I have been using my XHA1(pal) with Vegas 8.0 and have not had any problems what so ever (whatsoever?). I find them very user friendly. I once walked in on them interfacing with each other.

There were some 24F bugs when Sony first introduced Vegas 8.0, but as far as I know, 24F works fine now in Vegas. Maybe check the date on that "thread". I suppose I could go tell my copy of Vegas it's not supposed to be playing nice with the 24F footage from my XH A1?!?!? But then, why ruin a good thing.

All good news. I shall keep my mind open to this. I really dig Vegas and would hate to jump ship just yet. Thanks for the input.

Cheers,

24 30 60

Dave, I have used all modes with my A1 and Vegas 7.0... I'm no expert but they have all worked for me. Although I have worked with 60 for the most part and rendered as I need for my projects.. Some of my uploaded projects are at Gregg Havens' videos on Vimeo

Judge for yourself....

Cheers Greg. The clips look clean. Are you using a cheaper hdv cam as your source deck or coming right out of the A-1?
