problem with on-screen info
Hi there,
I have a Canon XH A1, very satisfied... I am not a begginer in video editing but still amator... I have activated de display info on the screen, so I can see the grid, the battery charge and more.... My surprise was to see that when I played back and when I transfert the info to the computer, the grid was still there...so as the other infos... can I erase those or are they forever on my recorded movie (bad thing)? Thanks for your help! Yannick |

Yannick... If you transferred the footage using firewire it should not be there. It's a display-only component and is not part of the video.
There is a setting buried in the menus where you can set whether or not that info is displayed when you output video from the A1 via the component video connections. If you transferred your video other than thru firewire, the screed display items could be transferred to your computer. Check the menu out to make sure your settings are right. |
