Wow, could use some simple help

I have read through the custome preset piece numerous times and I still cannot get it right.

I am only interested in two settings.

1. Lowlight setting
2. General setting that will make the outdoors look the best since I film outdoors (wildlife). - not sure which setting to use, but I was thinking just number 2 on the list.

I am saving them to an SD card on a card reader on my computer. Put the two in a folder called PRESET...go to find them on the camera and I see NOTHING but the greyed out "card to camera" that other people see.

What in the heck am I doing wrong? What do you suggest the best preset for outdoors be?

If someone could walk me through this, it would be AWESOME!

I tell you, I have been through that thread over and over and over again and I just can't seem to get it to work. This really bums me out! I have the season opener on Sept 15th and I would love to have this available and working!

If someone could please go over this step by step (dumify these directions), I would be so grateful to you! I see this over and over out here where people cannot follow the original post.

It would help if you answer Paul's question.

What are you naming the presets?

Sorry, named my folder (where I put my two settings I wanted downloaded) PRESET.

Is the problem that I need to first set up a folder in my camera called PRESET? Do I also need to first set up a preset....I hope I am asking the right questions here!

Ok. You've named the folder correctly.... BUT WHAT HAVE YOU CALLED THE PRESETS YOU'VE PLACED IN THE FOLDER?

They should be called: PRESET01.CPF, PRESET02.CPF and so on.

There's a limit of 20 presets, so PRESET21.CPF and up will not work. Also, when renaming presets PRESET4.CPF will not work, there has to be a zero, 04, 05 etc.
