Wow, could use some simple help
I have read through the custome preset piece numerous times and I still cannot get it right.
I am only interested in two settings. 1. Lowlight setting 2. General setting that will make the outdoors look the best since I film outdoors (wildlife). - not sure which setting to use, but I was thinking just number 2 on the list. I am saving them to an SD card on a card reader on my computer. Put the two in a folder called PRESET...go to find them on the camera and I see NOTHING but the greyed out "card to camera" that other people see. What in the heck am I doing wrong? What do you suggest the best preset for outdoors be? If someone could walk me through this, it would be AWESOME! |

I tell you, I have been through that thread over and over and over again and I just can't seem to get it to work. This really bums me out! I have the season opener on Sept 15th and I would love to have this available and working!
If someone could please go over this step by step (dumify these directions), I would be so grateful to you! I see this over and over out here where people cannot follow the original post. |

It would help if you answer Paul's question.
What are you naming the presets? |

Ok. You've named the folder correctly.... BUT WHAT HAVE YOU CALLED THE PRESETS YOU'VE PLACED IN THE FOLDER?
They should be called: PRESET01.CPF, PRESET02.CPF and so on. |

There's a limit of 20 presets, so PRESET21.CPF and up will not work. Also, when renaming presets PRESET4.CPF will not work, there has to be a zero, 04, 05 etc.
