White Balance for changing light conditions

Yeah it looks horrible aye? I'm no expert, but I don't know how you could white balance on the fly if it is just a cloud. Maybe someone more knowledgeable could say whether the clouds act like a filter changing the colour temperature?

By the way what preset were you using for that footage? The Letus lens may have tweaked the settings, but it seemed to handle the foam lighting very well and conveyed a sense of detail in that area also and on the waves. Thanks.

I don't use any presets. I have them turned off. I tried the Vivid RGBand the true color etc, but I still find no preset better in post for some weird reason. It doesn't seem to matter how perfectly I manage to shoot something, it's never good enough in terms of consistency, so I'm always tweaking the final footage anyway.
On that surf video, there's a couple of shots where I thought I hadn't turned the Letus on, but I realised later that I was closing the apeture. The previous owner had taken the ball bearing out so the F stops would change with the slightest touch.
