reviewing recording
you guys know the reviewing recording button underneath the magnification button? is there a way i can set up the length of that to be longer than just a few seconds??

Don't think so. If there's a way, it's not documented anywhere I've seen.
I'd love to be able to disable the stupid thing. I regularly hit it when I'm groping for the focus assist. Also... be careful reviewing repeatedly. That could cause drop outs. |

What about when you remove the tape, reload it and want to find the end again so you end up with continuous time-code, start to end of the tape.
I'm shooting stuff for the archives of HARS I want to fill the 83m tapes up and find I have to cue them some 5 sec before the end of the last shoot. It's a pain but works once you know how. Cheers. |

i just would like to be able to view the last trick to see if it was a good clip to use, w/o having to go into vcr mode

I am not a fan of the review button what-so-ever. I constantly bump it while setting up shots, a mistake that is far from ideal when filming live events. I would love a menu setting to disable the button. Since it doesn't even show the whole clip anyways...
