What computer to video edit ? at DVinfo.net

OK, so ive got a HX A1 camcorder and have purchased creator 10 software and now I reckon I need a new spec pc.
I would prefer windows based so my question is this.
What pc should I go for ?
Core duo? quad core ?
2gb ram? 4gb ram ?
1tb hard drive ? 2tb hard drive ?
