Sony Deck Image Quality
Hi There,
I used a Sony FX1 to capture my A1 footage, and i noticed that the colors were way off, there happens to be a hazy layer over my footage making the colors look very dull. When i captured the Sony footage on the same Sony itself, everything was very clear and not hazy at all. Does anyone know why this happened, and have any input on it? Thanks! Kevin

I should add something i just noticed a second ago, when i cut the footage and throw it into my timeline, it does clear up slightly, but not significantly to what the actual image still looked like through the camera. I'm editing of Avid Media Composer too if that might help tell why the captured image is hazy. Thanks!

Any chance you used Canon's presets and/or auto modes on the A1 footage? What you're describing sounds a lot like out-of-the-box A1 video.
