Did you get that look with Magic Bullet, or something equivalent, or in camera? I think it's great.

Bill- shot flat in camera, colour-corrected in vegas, literally all a mixture of colour-curves, hsl, and secondaries. general flow is- CLIP->curves(correction/ matching of contrast and/or colour)->HSL(sat balance)->Secondary(UP saturate skin tones only)->Curves(tone into blue/green)->Curves(contrast tweak)->BW(desat approx 50%). i.e. the key look is to up-sat the skin tones, then tone to blue, then add contrast, then desat. this keeps some life in the skin and stops the overall blue from being too dead. Glad you like, it works well and you can see it working better in the full thing :) |
