Photos to computer?
Sorry if this is too easy a question but it has me stumped. How do I get to download still photo images on to my computer?
I connect the firewire lead, slide the (5) card/tape switch to Card. Then switch the power dial to VCR/Play. At this point my Windows Vista PC makes a da-dum noise to confirm it recognises some kind of connection but that's as far as I can go. If I go into 'Explorer' or 'Computer' it only shows my hard drive and DVD drive. Should I have had a CD with the camcorder containing drivers? or do I have to join a secret society with a dodgy handshake to learn these skills??? :-) |

You can't move photos recorded to the SD card over FireWire.
You need to buy an SD card reader (about $10 to $20). Plug it in via USB. |
