converting 60i to slow mo 24p...

can anyone please explain the steps of how to convert 60i footage and end up with a 24p slow motion product using FINAL CUT PRO thanks

I'm pretty sure that you just drop 60i footage onto the 24p timeline...

I suggest checking in the software/NLE forums.

You will want to shoot with the shutter at 1/120 to avoid too much motion blur...
