Playback Settings
I am trying to determine what the gain setting was on an existing tape. I know you can see the aperture and frame rate in playback settings what about gain?

Guy... I don't think so. If that info is in there, it's hidden someplace I cannot find it. Although it would be nice to capture that information, it's nowhere nearly as important to me as shutter speed and aperture. Since I generally shoot outdoors I have gain set to -3, 0, +3 so there's not much room there, plus I won't hurt myself too badly if I bump the switch.
Now, all that could go into a cocked hat when I shoot a night race tomorrow. I might need more gain then I have dialed in right now. |
