Windgag For XHA1 Onboard Microphone

Hi Guys been searching for a Fluffy Windgag for XHA1 on board microphone, was wondering if the dead kitten from Rode would fit, if not anyone know what does.

Yes I do have the NTG2 But it would be good to use the onboard Microphone for Stereo Ambient sond. Thanks

Hi,
I could say as someone told me that: "go and find yourself", but that wouldn't be very polite, would it. ;)

Anyway, I have heard people using Rode Deadkitten for XH-A1 but it will require some modifications.

From somewhere I read that you could use Sony ADPCM1 -windscreen (designed for PCMD50 digital recorder).

I went the cheap and easy way and got a windscreen from eBay.com (just search for "XH-A1 Windscreen"). For what dollar is worth nowadays, it was a bargain. I dunno about the quality (haven't had time to test it) but at least it looks good. And that's the most important aspect, isn't it?

I'm using a Rycote Special 90, which comes with a velcro strap. Fits fine without modification and works a treat. It also fits my Zoom H2 audio recorder, though not at the same time!
