How to make a second eyepiece?
Okay, I've got an XH-A1 + Letus Extreme combo. I find, when using my zoom lens, the unit is too long to do handheld shots comfortably with the actual camera in front of me. So, I've set-up the unit on the rod system that Letus sells, and have found that if the A1 is balanced on my shoulder, my right hand holding the adapter and the left resting on the photo lens, it's the most comfortable (very much like a shoulder-mounted camera).
The only problem? The LCD and eyepiece are both beyond my eyes. I would like to find some kind of second eyepiece that could plug into one of the video outputs (preferably the HDMI output) and bend around the front of the camera. Anything like that out there?

You might look into a portable field monitor.
But don't look for one with an HDMI input, as the XH-A1 does not use that protocol. |
