XH-A1 user from Italy

Hi everyone!

I'm Antonio from Napoli, Italy. I'm 38 yo and I'm an "advanced user" (or "prosumer") since I was 15 yo. I started with Super8 and now I'm a proud owner of a fantastic Xh-A1.

For "hobby" I shoot wedding videos and this is the intro "style" to all of my wedding videos, matched to the thrilling rythm of Quincy Jones "Soul Bossa Nova".

http://www.vimeo.com/716241

I'm waiting to receive comments.

Bye

Agree with the comments above, beautiful work, loved it. But one question - why Sylvester Stallone?

Quanto Bello!

Ciao Antonio,

Wow, very nice work with the wedding video! I hope the family was happy with your work. I am sure they were. I loved the music, also. Beautiful!

I looked at your website (antonioricca.it) and saw some nice video of your trip to America. Did you have a good time in Vegas and Disneyland?

Do you have any video of Italy? I love Italian cinema and two of my favorite directors are Federico Fellini and Michelangelo Antonioni. Antonioni's "L'Avventura" and "L'Eclisse" are two of my favorites - especially showing the architecture of some of the cities.

Grazie dal Austin, TX,
Jack

Thank you for your kind words. Yes! The family was very happy for my work.

My first trip to USA was a 40-days on aug-sept 1998 from Florida to California, including a coast-to-coast with car. I hope to visit New York this year.

Regarding Italy videos, I have very few footage, but if you want to see some photo from Roma or Orbetello, point your browser to

my public album.

Very nice footage Antonio. I can imagine the bride and groom were very happy with your work. Do you always use an intro like that in your wedding video's? I too am a "prosumer weddingvideo shooter" and I often add a series of slowmotion shots from the bride which I shoot during the day. Edited with music like "you are so beautifull" garuantees the effect I want: teersucker!

Can you tell something about how you made the titling?

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I always use an intro like that. The "Soul Bossa Nova" is more rythmed and match properly for the use I did intend to (fast videclip style).
For the titling I use BluffTitler (CINERICC) and ProAnimator (Main Title).
Do you have seen this clip too?

Very nice too. And the parts of the groom are very funny. That's something to remember. Did you shoot al this footage with ethe XH A1? Did you use a preset? If yes, which one?

Yes, everything shooted with XH-A1. I remember I did use Panalook preset only for bride clothing shoots. Others shoots without presets.
