Black Line Problem

Hi all

I have been lurking in this since i get my XH-A1 Pal recently.

I have this problem with black line of the top of the frame, which exactly the same as the previous thread here http://dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.ph...ght=black+line

I managed to minimised the black line when capturing using my Sony HC1 but unfortunately, it produces white line flickering on the bottom of the frame.

Is there any solution on this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rajul. The only solution is to capture in HDV and downconvert in your NLE. Canon just seem to ignore this type of problem and leave it up to the users to either deal with it or move to another cam.

Hi Rajul. Haven't tried that, cos I think the A1 in SD is not very good compared with shooting HDV and downconverting. Others seem to like it though, so try for yourself and see what you think.
