Looking for a good tripod/fluid head?
Hello all, I have been reading this forum for about 8 months but I havent found my answer yet. I own the canon XH-A1 and I need to buy a tripod with fluid head. my goal is to own a 8-12 foot crain within a years time but for now I just need the tripod. What would be a good one that will acommadate me in the future with the crain I intend to purchase. Im thingking 100mm bowl but not sure if this is over kill? any suggestions will be greatfull. and your theory will be welcomed as well. Thank you.

A tripod with 100mm bowl would be a good investment as you can use a smaller head if necessary using a 100 to 75 adapter. That way, you'd have sturdy crane support, while being able to match the correct head for your camcorder. As a bonus, if you step up to a larger camera requiring the use of a 100mm bowl head, you're golden with the sticks you already own.
