hdv overwriting SD on same tape
I had like 3 minutes of SD test footage on my panasonic minidv tape, is it alright if I go back and record blank HDV and overwrite the SD part?
I'd leave about 30 seconds of buffer from the very beginning, as long as I do this do you guys think that i will have any trouble capturing footage from the tape? Thanks in advance, Christian |

Christian,
I have just recorded straight footage on top of it no worries at all. I reckon it would only be a problem if you stop the HDV footage before you have shot over the three mins as when you capture your NLE will go a little mental. Jon |
